Why do we have rules and routines in school?

To keep us safe, help us learn, and make school fun for everyone!

Students should remain quiet while the the teacher is talking to show respect. Your classmates want to hear what others have to say and participate. It can be distracting if you or other students are not quiet.

The teacher wouldnt be able to hear everyone. Teachers want to hear what you have to say. Students need to raise their hand and wait to be called on when they have something to say.
