Cause of suffering is craving (truth of cause of suffering). Always wanting the next or new thing, is continuously seeking happiness elsewhere, meaning we are unsatisfied with what we have.

While past karma affects current circumstances, it does not eliminate free will. Each person has the ability to make new choices and create fresh karma in the present. This means that change is always possible, and past actions don’t permanently define a person.
