The gospel means good news. It's the true story of Jesus's life, death, burial, and resurrection.

Mercy is not giving someone they punishment they deserve. When we place faith in Christ, we are covered and redeemed by His blood. We are forgiven for our sins, and we don't receive the punishment of death we deserve. Grace is giving someone a gift they didn't earn. When we place saving faith in Jesus Christ, we receive the gift of eternal life. This is a gift of grace. We don't earn or deserve it. It's given to us freely.
Who wrote the Bible? Who were these men and over what period of time did it take place.
Holy men who were inspired by God. Bible was written over the course of 1500 years by approximately 40 individuals (prophets, fishermen, kings, scholars, and poets)

Wisdom is making the choice that best honors God when the laws and commands don't provide a clear answer. The Books of Wisdom in include Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon and Job.

Define and explain justification and sanctification.
Justification is coming to saving faith in Jesus Christ and being declared righteous in the sight of God. Following justification, All Christians should be in the ongoing process of sanctification empowered by the Holy Spirit. Sanctification means our gradual growth in righteousness empowered and sustained by the Holy Spirit.

What does Omniscient mean?
This means that God knows all things. His knowledge is infinite and eternal. "Oh Lord, you have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; you understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. Psalm 139:1-3.
Define a prophet and a prophecy.
A prophet is a man who heard, understood, and shared a message from God. The prophecy is the message itself. This is a message given by God and delivered through a person to other people.
Describe what faith is in the life of a believer. Sustaining faith. This is the faith that sustains a believer after they are stayed and until they are ultimately glorified.
It is believing, trusting, and resting on the truth that God is Who He says He is and that He will do what He has promised to do.
