All elevator entrapments will be treated as an emergency event and shall require a response from Security Officers. The onsite Security Officer will provide the following information (Name 4) to the Safe@:
Exact Location (e.g., building, floor)
Problem (e.g., stalled, stuck between floors, people trapped)
Number of people trapped
What are the 4 types of crowds?
1. Friendly: A friendly crowd is typically well-behaved and requires minimal control by Security Officers.
2. Sightseeing: A sightseeing crowd is comprised of people who gather at the scene of an incident, fire, or any other type of disaster. This type of group is curious, cooperative, and anxious to assist. However, it can pose a risk to Security Officers and police officers as they may interfere with rescue operations, destroy evidence and place themselves in danger.
3. Agitated: An agitated crowd can include a friendly or sightseeing group disturbed by an event.
4. Hostile: A hostile crowd may become increasingly aggressive and harmful when interacting with others, resulting in a mob or riot.
When a Security Officer encounters a possible trespasser, they shall immediately report information to:
