How do I walk in the hallways at Goynes?
Walk with purpose (I have somewhere to be- I want to get their quickly and safely)
Respect our walls and displays (not touching the walls or the decor)
Follow voice level directions given (voices off in the hallway)
Face forward in the line (walking and staying in my line order- no distractions)
What should your body look like when the teacher is reading a story on the rug?
Criss-cross applesauce, mermaid or mountain, eyes on the teacher, and ears listening.
How should you line up for lunch?
In line order with a voice level ZERO
What should go at the top of all my papers?
When is the best time to get a drink of water from the fountain?
During independent work time or a brain break.
What is one expectation for playing at recess or on the playground?
Play fair and invite others to join.
Take turns and cooperate with others.

Raise a quiet hand and wait to be called on.
When are you allowed to go to the bathroom?
When the teacher isn't talking/teaching. Or INDEPENDENT WORK TIME
What is our procedure for getting a new/sharp pencil?
Get a new pencil out of the white pencil bin.
Put the old pencil in the dull bucket.
What is the first thing you should do when you come in our classroom in the morning?
Get my chair, hang my backpack and fill out my attendance folder for the day.
What is a gladiator bathroom expectation? Name one.
Respect others privacy.
Use the restroom and return to class quickly.

What do ALL students have to do before dismissing from our line at the end of the day?
Give the teacher a fist bump!

Ask myself: Am I just hungry? Am I seriously hurt? Have I tried resting and having some water?
