No, 9th graders must be escorted by an adult to go to the GCDI.
If a 9th grader returns from break with missing or Below Basic learning targets, what should they expect?
Required remediation, including working lunches, until targets are improved

What happens after the 3rd dress code violation for 9th–10th graders?
Administrative lunch detention and parent contact

Why is waiting for a teacher to remind you about missing work not considered acceptable behavior after winter break?
Because students are expected to take personal ownership by checking Canvas, monitoring grades, and asking for help proactively.
What does personal ownership look like when a student is struggling in class or PBL?
Asking for help, completing remediation, and taking responsibility for improvement.
After excessive dress code violations, what specific clothing restrictions can be enforced for a semester?
White STEM polo and khaki pants only, no Phase II dress days
A student is assigned lunch detention by a teacher for repeatedly leaving the classroom without permission (repeated Level I unexcused classroom time). The student decides not to come to lunch detention when assigned. What is the offense and intervention?
It would escalate to a Level III - teacher calls home, teacher assigns lunch detention with admin.
What does “personal responsibility” look like for behavior when returning from winter break, even if you'd rather be sleeping?
Managing actions, following expectations without reminders, and correcting behavior proactively.
