This adult supervises between the large structure and toddler area near the Clarendon fence with a view of the entire playground.
Who is the first adult into the playground?
This must happen immediately if a child gets hurt during play.

This is the maximum number of students allowed on the spinner at one time.

Snowballs may only be thrown at this surface.

These items are not allowed for play on the playground because they encourage unsafe behavior.
What are sticks.
This adult stands behind the wall inside the gate and watches the field and Commonwealth side of the playground.
Who is the second adult into the playground?
This behavior is not allowed; instead students should demonstrate positive sportsmanship.
What is bragging or gloating?
This is the maximum number of students allowed on the basket swing at one time.
What is three students?
Students should not bring this material to and from the playground.
What is snow?
These types of balls must be used for playground games for safety reasons.
What are soft or padded balls?
This teacher patrols the back structures, swings, spinner, and the area behind the shed along the alley fence.
Who is the third adult into the playground?
These should be kept even (grade-level, gender, ability, etc) whenever possible when organizing games.
What are teams?
This is the only allowable direction on the slide.
What is down?
Students should not do this with snow on cleared walkways.
What is kick snow?
Touch footballers and soccer goalies are not allowed to do this, but instead they should throw the ball back into play.
What is punt?
This teacher takes a central position and walks along the stone island to monitor the playground.
Who is the fourth adult into the playground?
These people are responsible for dividing students into teams before games.
Who are teachers?
These playground structures may be used only for swinging and pulling up — not gymnastic flips.
What are monkey bars?
This activity is never allowed when playground surfaces are icy.
What is sliding on ice?
This type of pretend play is not allowed as it's too violent.
What is gunplay or swordplay?
These are the four locations of supervision, in order, for teachers at the playground.
