Engineering Design Process
The process of Ask/Research in the EDP process:
a. What are you investigating?
b. In order, Ask is where in the Engineering Design Process? (1-5)
a. An engineer is investigating what the problem is, who is it for, and what you will need to solve this issue.
ex: asking group questions, look up information, observe and learn. etc
b. Ask/Research is the FIRST step in solving as an engineer.
The process of Plan in the EDP process:
a. What are the steps of this process?
b. Where is Plan in the Engineering Design Process? (1-5)
a. Draw a picture or blueprint of their design. ; Choose materials they will use. ; Explain how it will work.
b. This is the second process of the EDP.
The process, Create, of the EDP process:
a. What is the most important part of this process?
b. Where is Create in the Engineering Design Process?
a. Following STEP by STEP to build the design you planned with TEAM WORK.
Also, make sure you or your group has the right materials to turn your plan into something real.
The process of Test and Improve of the EDP process:
What do you do during this process, and what could happen if this is not done correctly?
Testing your prototype after building is important to make sure your prototype does what you intended it to do!
Making changes on the prototype that are needed will ensure (make sure) it is a good product.
