Support regulation, offer hugs, give space if they need to calm down, offer an activity to engage in upon arrival, ask parents to drop off and leave quickly.
What are the food groups that should be included in children's meals?
Fruits and vegetables, grains, protein. Add water/milk on the side.
Number present, who was absent, unusual routine, accidents, alternative pickups, sickness, drug administration, menu change, early pickups, days off, etc.

Ice and calm the child. Create accident report. Inform parents and observe child for worsening condition. Record in DWR.

Discuss with parents; suggest intervention; ask agency for support

Block area, reading corner, art station, kitchen/dramatic play.

Inform parents and ask for pickup. Fill out illness chart. Observe and record temperature. Also record in DWR.
A child has a habit of biting others. What do you do?
Attend to the hurt child, observe triggers, be vigilant, ask parents for support, seek out agency support if it is happening often. Record in DWR.
