Describe the prasang of Shantilal receiving the letter of Shastriji Maharaj asking him to come and become a sadhu.
As well as studies, singing bhajans and offering bhakti, Shantilal loved sports. Cricket and swimming in particular were his favourite. Cricket was introduced to the village of Chansad by a government worker called Ramlal. He had bought a bat, ball and stumps and taught the children how to play. Roughly a year later, Ramlal was transferred elsewhere and he took the equipment with him. The children decided to get together and raised Rs. 500, quite a substantial sum in those days, for new equipment. All the children appointed Shantilal and Shankarlal to go to Vadodara to buy the equipment.
As they were getting ready to leave, a youth from Bhaili, the neighbouring village, approached Shantilal with a letter from Shastriji Maharaj, addressed to his father, Motibhai. Shantilal showed the letter to his parents. In the letter Shastriji Maharaj had instructed that Shantilal be sent to become a sadhu. Motibhai was reminded of the time when Shastriji Maharaj gave the infant Shantilal vartman and said, “He is ours. Please make sure to give him to us when the time is right.” That time had arrived. Without tears or anguish, his parents accepted guru Shastriji Maharaj’s wish and Shantilal immediately left.
At the age of 18 Shantilal embarked on a new chapter in his life.

Describe the prasang of what Pramukh Swami Maharaj did after being appointed as the spiritual head of BAPS.
Swami Bapa was only 28 years old at that time. From that day onwards he is affectionately known as Pramukh Swami.
Swami Bapa did two unique things on that special day :
1. Bapa was very humble. He did not get inflated with ego because of his appointment as the new President, instead he prayed to guru Shastriji Maharaj to give him the strength and ability, the dedication and zeal to carry out the mission of the Akshar Purushottam faith as long as he lived.
2. After the memorable function was over, all the devotees had a good feast. Then they all lay down to have a nap. Only one person was awake and working! Guess who? Pramukh Swami, the newly appointed President.
What was he doing? Swami Bapa was washing and cleaning all the kitchen utensils - pots and pans, cups and bowls. He was scrubbing and washing all the dishes!
As the President, he could have asked someone else to do it. But Bapa did not do that. He did not use his power as the new President. He did not wake up anybody to help him. He did not even complain to anyone. Bapa did not leave the work undone.
