We learned that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, AND the light of the world, and the good shepherd. What do all these have in common?
Jesus is always guiding us/showing us the right way/bringing us to God.
Why can the fruit of the Spirit not grow in us if we go away from Jesus?
Because a branch needs the vine to live and grow - Without Jesus, we have no connection to God's goodness, so no fruit can grow.
Only John writes about these "I am" statements. Why?
The purpose of the book of John is to show that Jesus is God.
How is Jesus like a light?
