Who is eligible to use BenefitBump?
All Halliburton employees, regardless of medical plan enrollment, and their partner or spouse.
What parenthood journeys does BenefitBump support?
BenefitBump support families who are planning, pregnant, adopting, fostering going through fertility treatment, or who have kids 12 and under.
Does BenefitBump provide 1:1 support?
Yes! Once you register, you will be matched with a Care Navigator who will work with you 1:1 throughout your parenthood journey. Every interaction you have will always be with the same Care Navigator. Throughout that journey, your Navigator will be proactively checking in on you.
Does BenefitBump cost anything?
The cost is completely covered by Halliburton, costing nothing for the families who use the program.
Can BenefitBump help me understand Halliburton's benefits?
Yes! BenefitBump Care Navigations are training in employer benefits, and specifically in Halliburton’s benefits. They can help you understand out-of-pocket costs for medical services, Halliburton leave benefits available for recovery from childbirth and bonding with a new child, the process to apply for leave and return to work, childcare resources, ways to access in-network wellbeing resources, and more.
How do I reach my Care Navigator?
You can reach your Care Navigator via email, in-app message, text, phone call, or video chat. While Care Navigators work standardly Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, all Navigators have at least one day a week when they can support evening calls.
When can you enroll in BenefitBump?
You can enroll in BenefitBump year-round, not just during Open Enrollment.
Does BenefitBump support dads too?
Yes! BenefitBump supports all parents, including birth and non-birth parents.
What digital tools does BenefitBump offer?
The BenefitBump app/website includes a hub for all Halliburton’s benefits for growing families and early parenthood, a checklist of to-do’s based on the your ‘life event’, and a resource section with educational articles.
Is there a a 'right time' to use BenefitBump?
We encourage you to use BenefitBump at any time in your parenting journey - whether you are planning to grow your family in the next few years, you are currently growing your family, you recently welcomed a child and are in the postpartum period, or you have kids under 12 years old and are navigating parenthood.
Can BenefitBump help me prepare for leave?
Going on parental can be overwhelming. At BenefitBump, we help you understand leave benefits, apply for those benefits, navigate transitioning to leave, and prepare to return to work after leave.
Are there any other perks to the program?
Gifts! During your engagement in the program, you get a gift after your first call with your Care Navigator. For expecting parents, you also get a gift as you approach your pregnancy due date or adoption placement date, which includes a custom Halliburton baby onesie!
