Reach out to the student by phone, text or email. Document the retention effort.
What should instructors do when a student misses more than 1 day in a week?
Because it creates a more secure method of communication and because students will eventually need it to receive graduation tickets.
Why should all CCR students have a VGCC email address?
By keeping a semester calendar visible in each class. By sending email reminders regularly. By including the Fall calendar in your syllabus.

What is the new state requirement for MSGs?
Students must have completed at least 2 official HSE tests, achieved 75% of their AHS credits and have taken a post-test.
What are the prerequisites for entering the PSE pathway?
By keeping students informed of their hours from Advansys, so they'll know when it's time for a post-test. By placing names on a visible list to remind students to expect Mr. Tyrone.
How can an instructor prepare students for post-testing to better ensure they're present on testing day?

What happens if a student does not fully complete the virtual orientation & registration process, but only schedules a placement test?
1st initial + last name + last 4 of student ID#.
