What is my way?
This Thinking Error is apparent when you act lost even when you understand what is expected, and act lost to avoid taking Responsibility for your actions.
What is confusion?
Justifying actions, feel it- do it, and simply making excuses for actions.
What is making excuses?
You may set-up others by getting them to depend on you and then fail when they are counting on you.
What is making fools of?
Lack of care and concern for the feelings of others.
What is the lack of empathy?
When you use this Thinking Error, you usually do not check the facts and do not care what others think or feel.
What is assuming?
make little things turn into very important things. As you make a very big deal out of something, the more important issues, become less important.
What is grandiosity?
Finger-pointing, blame-shifting, someone made you do it.
What is blaming?
This is when you use a mask of secrecy to avoid looking at what is going on or what the truth is. You tend to keep secrets with other peers
What is secretiveness?
You act like a "tough-guy". You cut off any fear that reasonably would stop most people from doing dangerous or unhealthy things.
What is refusal to acknowledge fear?
Although there are healthy ways to experience and show your ____ when you use your anger to get your way, you are using it as a thinking error.
What is anger?
This Thinking Error is one of the most commonly used Thinking Error and is used in many different ways
What is deceiving?
Pity party, I can't, I don't know how I need help, etc.
What is acting helpless?
This is when you "keep" an intense emotion (usually anger) inside of you and then don't deal with it at all. You will then start to heat up, the pressure will build, and eventually, you will blow up and become abusive, offensive, or violent.
What is shutdown/meltdown?
Using a victim stance, entitlement mentality, “I’m different” mind-set
What is uniqueness?
Black and white thinking, using absolutes, no gray areas.
What is all or nothing?
no big deal, it wasn't that bad, comparing actions against those of someone else, etc.
What is downplaying?
You prefer to put forth little effort into anything. An effort is defined as doing what you do not want to do BUT need to do.
What is lackadaisical?
This Thinking Error involves shifting attention from the issue at hand, using vagueness and hop-overs, etc
What is avoiding consequences?
