1.  Keep the clients safe, get emergency power, pack all medications, get the med book, emergency binder, emergency supplies, client essential supplies; extra clothing, toiletries, incontinence supplies.  Extra blankets and towels, will be helpful.  

2.  Adhere to all safety protocols when loading the vans and buses.

Can previous employees drop by and visit clients in the facility any time they want?

No, if a previous employee comes to the door, they may not come into the facility unless it has been approved by a member of the Governing Body.  There are many reasons that previous employees are not authorized to enter the facility.  You must call a member of the Governing Body, Dana, Meagan or Celeste, to obtain approval for any previous employee to enter a facility.

helping to be the voice of someone who needs to be heard and maybe can or cannot be for themselves. Helping someone to understand what they are going through and what their choices are in a given situation. An advocate can help a person to prepare for and take part in a meeting. An advocate can help a person raise concerns about themselves.

Why are Inservices and House Meetings Mandatory?

It is a regulation in Title 22 (from the state and federal government) that each direct care staff member attends at least 3 hours of monthly training on certain subjects.  The regulation specifies which topics we have to cover.  There are 27 topics that we have to cover.
