The freedom to worship the god or goddess of your choice, or not to worship at all

To NOT have to house or shelter soldiers in a private home
What is the 3rd Amendment?
Civil court cases (issues over money or disagreements) to be decided by a jury (group of people)

What is the right to bear arms, 2nd Amendment?
For those found guilty in a court, no excessive fines or cruel and unusual punishment allowed; no high bail is to be set

The freedom to speak freely in public places
What is the Freedom of Speech?
People have other rights not listed in the Constitution, such as the right to vote
What is the 9th Amendment?
Speedy and public trial needed, jury members cannot be biased against the defendant, defendant must be told the charges against them, have a right to have a lawyer in court
What are rights in the 6th Amendment?
The freedom to use public property for meetings and demonstrations (events)
What is the Freedom of Assembly?
The protection against searching or seizing things from a home; to respect a person's right to privacy
What is the 4th Amendment?
Cannot deprive people of their liberty without due process; no self-incrimination or double jeopardy; use of a grand jury
What are protections in the 5th Amendment?
The freedom, or right, to contact elected people in govt. and request changes, and also to place propositions on a ballot for voting
What is Freedom of Petition?
Powers not given to the Federal Govt. (National Govt.) are for the states, such as setting up elections and deciding how many days in the school year
What is the 10th Amendment?
The U.S. Constitution be amended to include a bill (or listing) of these rights, thus guaranteeing them
