What is REACH?
The FOB shipping term and letter we type into the END screen of MEMO when McMaster Carr is picking up the shipping charges. As an example, we might do so when we are in recovery mode.
What is "M" or "DEST-M" or "McMaster Destination Pricing".
Will we provide Manufacturer Certificates for incons and distributors?
No. We can provide a McMaster-Carr C of C (Certificate of Compliance) and advise it is the only Cert we have available.
Customers often ask for this type of certificate for items like Loctite or adhesives.
What is Shelf Life or Certificate of Analysis?
We use this resource to find answers to previously or commonly asked questions about customers.
What is Techline?
Typically associated with Export transactions, this document is also known as a Certificate of Origin.
What is a Commercial Invoice?
We enter this command or letter into the FOB field on the END screen of MEMO when the customer can not accept a separate line for shipping charges on their order. Instead, we add the cost of shipping into the merchandise costs, spread out across all of the lines.
What is "I" or "DEST-CUST" or "Destination Pricing Customer".
Will we expedite a backorder or ship branch stock for a distributor?
No. We stick to the expected delivery dates we provided in the confirmation, and if past it, pad the date with additional time.
