There is a curvy and winding walkway that goes through the middle of our school.

Why isn't it a straight walkway like most other schools?

What does it represent?

The walkway is curvy and winding because it is supposed to represent the Santa Clara River.  The paths turn, bend, and meander like an actual river.  It also symbolizes learning at Rio del Sol because learning in real life is not a straight line.  There are bumps and challenges along the way, so our school represents a very real and student-centered view of education.
