Quiet, straight line, no gaps, facing forward. *BONUS* Stopping at all stops until Miss Unruh says go
Model how you pass down assignments
starting at the end of the row you pass down your paper stacking one on top of the other. Then they are put in a nice neat pile for Miss. Thompson to collect
What is rule #2
You may not get out of your seat. (No bathroom, no water, no sharpening pencil etc.)
Is it okay to mess up?
YESSSSS:) we all make mistakes but it is important that we learn from them!
How long do you have to line up?
About 30 seconds. When the whistle blows you have to quickly get in line
What is the expectation at lunch?
Eating silently for the first 10-15 minutes then whispering with a neighbor while you eat.

What is rule #3?
You are reading a just right book and silently working

Be Your Best Self. It means no matter what you are doing or where you are you are always trying to be the best version of yourself
Where do you go if you and a friend are having a problem?
Miss Unruh and she will help you figure it out. She will tell me if I need to get involved.
When you're at specials or with another teacher who is in charge?
That teacher & Miss Unruh. All classroom rules and procedures are still expected even if your are not in our classroom. We respect all teachers

Is it ever okay to judge someone else or say mean things?
Absolutely not! Miss Thompson does not tolerate people being mean to other people. If you are caught being mean, saying something mean, or doing something mean.. you will have a consequence :(
What are our school virtues?

Can you ever go in the street when you are on the field?
only if given permission from a teacher
Can you get out of your seat at lunch?
Only if you raised your hand and a teacher says you may get up.

Miss Thompson & Miss Unruh will always always always help you! If you don't feel comfortable sharing you can write "I wish my teacher knew" and one of us will write back to you:)
How many chances do you get?
You get 1 reminder, then recovery desk or go to a different classroom, then think sheet
What happens if our class gets too rowdy while playing a sport?
You will have one reminder then you will no longer be able to play that sport until I or Miss Unruh say otherwise:)
When can you use the restroom?
Try to use it during specials, lunch, & recess. If it is an emergency I will almost always let you go.
