What are the steps of making Wudu?
1. Intentions then say Bismillah.
2. Wash your hands
3. Take water into your mouth. Clean Your Nose
4. Wash your face. Every part of the face needs to be washed. That means from ear to ear and from the top of your forehead to the bottom of your chin.
5. Wash your lower arms from wrists to elbows, leaving no part dry. Right Arm first and then left arm.
6. Wipe your head. Move your wet hands from the top of the forehead to the back of the head, and then from the back of the head to the forehead.
7. Clean Your Ears.
8. Wash Your Feet Three Times. Begin from your toes on your right foot and wash up to and including your ankle. Do the same for the left foot.
9. Recite the Shahada and the Dua
Ash-hadu an la ilaha illal lahu wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasuluh.”
This means “I testify that there is no god but Allah, and I also testify that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.”
After this statement he would make the following dua: “Allahuma j‘alnee mina tawabeen waj-‘alnee minal mutatahireen”
Which means “O Allah, make me among those who seek repentance and make me among those who purify themselves.”
