Level 0 when Mrs. Rosenberg or your teacher are talking. Level 1 or 2 when you can talk to each other.

Renew it for 2 more weeks.

No

Fiction and Non-Fiction

In the Early Readers section.
How many books can you check out?
1 or 2 books IF you turn your old books back in
What do you do with your book when you come in the library with your class?
Put your book in the book drop.
Where do you keep your hands when you are sitting on the floor or the tables?
In your lap or calmly on the table.
Do we have leveled books in our library?
No. All books are only in ABC and number order
When searching for a book to check out, what should you do if you don't want a book?
Back on the shelf where you got it, after using your shelf marker.
When is the correct time to speak in the Media Center?
When you are called on or when there is group work.
Where do I check out my library books?
At the circulation or checkout desk.
What do I do if I have lost a book?
Look in the classroom and everywhere you have been. Then pay if it's not found.
How do I find new books?
Ask Ms. Warmsley.
When is the library open to students?
During your class library time and throughout the day until 4:00.
Is walking the correct way to move throughout the Media Center?
Yes, running isn't safe.
Can I get books out of the book drop when we are checking out books?
No, books are found on the book shelves.
What do you do when you get up from the tables?
Push your chair in.

Eating, drinking, running, yelling, throwing things, being disrespectful to others, sitting on tops of tables, leaning back in your chair

Back in the same place on the shelf, after using your shelf marker.
Why must we walk when coming into the library?
For everyone's safety.
How do you sit in the chairs at the tables?
With all four chair legs on the floor.

The Dewey Decimal System
