I need to raise my hand.

Look around your desk, clean if necessary, and push your chair in.
What should we always do when Mrs. Barry is talking to another adult?
Be respectful, be quiet and continue working or reading your book.
What can we do if we're feeling a bit frustrated?
Take 5 minutes and go to the calm down corner if necessary.
What do I do when the teacher is talking to the whole class or explaining an assignment?
I am actively listening, so I understand ALL the directions.
What are the rules for when we gather at the carpet?
Pick a spot in less than 30 secs, sit where you can focus, sitting up and active listening.
When do you enter the classroom?
When the teacher greets you and allows you to enter.
What should I do with leftover materials and any kind of trash while working in class?
I need to put them in the trash can, not on the floor. Floor must be kept neat and clean at all times.
What should I do if I have lost or misplaced something?
Report it to any teacher immediately.
How can you show the speaker that you are giving them your full attention?
Active listening: Ears listening, eyes watching, seated appropriately.
Can you eat food in the classrooms?
Only during snack time, without making a mess.
When can I use the restroom?
During class change, break, or at lunchtime; emergency only during class lessons.
What should I do with items that I find and don't know who they belong to?
Give it to the teacher.
What is my responsibility within a group assignment or classwork?
It is my responsibility to do my best, and provide as much help for excellent results. Everyone must be responsible as a team member.
How do you show respect for the school property?
By keeping my classroom and school premises in clean and neat condition.
What is the first thing you should do when you arrive to class?
Read the information board, turn in H folder, homework and pick up pencil pouch. Do it quickly and quietly. Be ready for morning prayer!
Before Mrs. Barry allows us to line up for dismissal, what do we each need to do?
Clean my space, turn in my pencil pouch, sitting quietly with H folder and assignment book stacked neatly on my desk.
What should I bring to class everyday?
Home (H) folder, assignment book, a book to read and your snack.
What should I do during classroom transitions?
Make sure I know what's next and be prepared!
What are you allowed to drink while in class?
Only water.

How do we act when going outside the classroom: The Hallway, Specials, Cafeteria, etc?
Get in line in an orderly manner and walk quickly and quietly.
How do we walk in the hallways?
Walk in one long line, one person in front of the other, quickly and quietly.
What should I do if I am not clear with the given instructions?
Ask questions, ask questions.
What should I do in order to respect my classmates?
By working quietly and not disturbing their work, plus being respectful with them.
