What is the theme of this paragraph?

When I'm working during centers, I normally work by myself. I don't talk or work with my other group members because they always slow me down and I never finish my work. One day, I was really confused on what to do. I asked my group for help, but no one would talk to me or help me! It made me really sad, and I ended up getting the question wrong since I didn't get any help from my group.

Always help others because you never know when you will need help or feel confused.

What is the character's perspective?

Dear Neighbor,

My name is Jane. I live on 123 Angel Lane. This morning, I was walking to school and your dog came out and ran towards me. I jumped and began to run away. My homework flew out of my backpack as I was running, and your dog took it and ran away with it. My teacher doesn't believe me that a dog ate my homework. Can you help me fix this? I really don't want to get a bad grade in school!

From,
Jane.

What is the author's claim in this paragraph?

Going outside for recess gives students such nice break from schoolwork. Students are in classrooms all day, and having indoor recess only makes stay in their classrooms that much longer. Indoor recess does not give students many options of what to do. Usually, they can go on their laptops or draw. Going outside and running around not only gives them exercise, but it also wakes their bodies and brains up in a way that indoor recess does not.

Outdoor recess is better for students than indoor recess.

Bill thinks the theme of this paragraph is "never talk to strangers". Do you agree? Why or why not?

One cool day, Little Red was walking through the woods to go to her grandma's house. As she was skipping through the leaves, she heard someone call her name. It was Mr. Wolf! He looked awfully hungry, so she offered him one of her muffins from her basket. She dropped her red cape, so she bent down to get it. When she stood back up, all of her muffins were gone and so was the wolf! Now she had nothing to bring to Grandma.

Yes, because she talked to Mr. Wolf and ended up losing all of her muffins!
