Since Julian was a little boy, he had dreamed of being on the basketball team. Every afternoon after school, he would come home and practice dribbling and shooting with his brother, Huey. Then one day, he saw some of the boys in his neighborhood playing and tried to join them, but they told him he was too small and he wasn't good enough. Although he went home sad, he didn't give up, and he kept practicing. Then, one day, he tried out for the school team and he made it!
