What is Body Language?
The perception of feelings that people get from the person they are talking to because of they way that they are holding their body.
"My Mouth is a Volvano" tells us to control our volcano. What does that mean and what is our Volcano?
We need to control out blurting from our mouths!
What does a school counselor do?
Teach about emotions, friendships, communication, etc. Help students with problems. Work with students who need some extra support. Etc.
What is positive self talk?
Saying kind things to our selves.
What is self control?
Being responsible for our actions and what we do and say.
What do we do if someone is doing something to us that makes us upset?
Ask them to stop, walk away, tell a trusted adult.

Our bodies, words, actions, etc.
What is bullying?
When someone is mean to the same person for many days in a row and will not listen if asked to stop.
What might someone think if, while they are talking to you, you are fidgeting a lot and not looking at them while they speak.
Not interested in what they are saying, etc.

What is a bystander?
Someone who sees something mean happening to another person and does not do anything to help or stop it.
Sitting forward and keeping eye contact while someone is speaking is...
Positive and attentive body language!
What does it mean when we say someone is "influencing" your actions?
That they are helping you make the decision.
How do we make good friends?
By being a good friend!
