A wigwam is a dome shaped house built from birch, animal skins, leaves and wood. First Nations, Anishinabek lived in wigwams.
What is a longhouse?
A longhouse is a large, wood framed building covered in elm bark.
Who lived in a longhouse?
First Nations group Haudenosaunee lived in longhouses with their clans. There would be 3-4 families living together. 60 or so men, women, children and elders in one longhouse.
How did early settlers get what they wanted and needed?
They had to find,grow, or make these things for themselves.

Cree lived in teepees. Teepees are made of animal skin and wooden poles.

People can buy goods on the internet. You can go to a shopping mall to buy goods. People can buy goods that have been made in distant places and have them shipped to their homes.
