I am the patron saint of Ireland and Nigeria. I was taken by slavers and brought to Ireland. I was forced to work as a shepherd for 6 years before escaping. I became a missionary trying to convert pagans. My feast day is March 17th and is a very popular holiday.

I am the patron saint of African Americans. I was freed from slavery at the age of 18 and did farm work while getting paid until I could buy my own oxen. Later I joined a group of hermits before becoming a member of the Franciscans. After my death, the king of Spain ordered a special tomb in my honor.

My father was a Muslim leader in Spain, but I was kind to Christian prisoners. When I became sick, I sought the healing waters at San Vincenzo shrine and left relieved of my illness.

After the French Revolution, I created the Sisters of Notre Dame and was able to walk for the first time in over 20 years.

I am the patron saint of Oceania after becoming the first martyr from that region. Originally from France, I joined the Society of Mary (Marists) and traveled to the Fiji area as a missionary. When the chieftain was frustrated with my conversions, I was clubbed to death.

I am the patron saint of computers and the internet. I am from Spain who lived during the Visigoth invasion when Spain was split in two. I reunited Spain and made it a center of culture and learning. I became the bishop of Seville and was called the Schoolmaster of the Middle Ages.

I am the patron saint of Poland. I was born in Krakow, was ordained a priest, then the bishop of Krakow. Later I became involved in the political situation of Poland, excommunicated the king, and then the king executed me with his own hands.

I was born in Viterbo, Italy and entered a convent after my fiancee passed away. I was a born teacher and opened a free school for girls. My group of women that prayed the rosary with me became a religious congregation now known as the Venerini Sisters.

I am from Italy and am the patron saint of infertility, parenthood, and difficult marriages. After my cruel husband died, I joined the Augustinian nuns and later developed wounds on my forehead that resembled the crown of thorns of Christ.

I taught at all grade levels, earning a doctorate and promoted cultural awareness during the Civil Rights Movement in the 60s.
