Once you have found your club, turn in your paper enrollment forms to the club leader at a club meeting. The club leader will then turn in your forms to the Extension Office.

No! Please turn in your combined release form to your club leader. Your club leader will then turn in those forms to the Extension Office.

Monthly, a minimum of 6 meetings are required annually.

No! Please cross out the projects your child would like to receive materials for (some are FREE) at your club meeting. You will need to initial next to your choices.

I am a new 4-H leader/volunteer, do I need a background check? How long does it last? What is the cost? But, I am an FBI Agent and I already have one through my job.
YES! All adult leaders and volunteers need background checks to work with 4-H youth. Your APPROVED background check lasts 5 years. The cost is $10.00. All volunteers must go through the 4-H background check system! :)
When is the project and enrollment deadline for 4-H in Valencia County?

How many people do I need to have on my bank account? When are financials due?
At least 2 including yourself. The end of the summer, fiscal year runs to the end of June.
Is beef tag in mandatory?
YES, unless there is an uncontrollable circumstance, all members must be there to tag!
I am a re-enrolling leader what all do I need to be an approved leader for this year?
You need to be enrolled online through Zsuites, turn in your paper combined release forms to your club leader, complete the NM Working with Minors Quiz through ZSuites, and have an approved background check on file for every 5 years.

This event is for seniors to compete in contests. This is also where youth run for State 4-H Office. We stay for almost a week in the dorms at NMSU in July.

What do club leaders needs to do for project material?
Have your members mark out the projects they do not want from the project sheet list. Have them initial next to their name. Turn in this form to the Extension Office. Once your order is in, turn in ONE check from the club to pay for projects.
When is the Northern Livestock School? Where is it held?
June 21st and 22nd and HERE!!! Be sure we have kids sign up!!
