Students who seek emergency or medical assistance, including, but not limited to, a mental health crisis, medical emergency, or sexual assault, for themselves or others will not face punitive disciplinary action for personal use of alcohol, drugs, or other substances. 

Students will still have to complete disciplinary actions set upon the hearing officer. 

If campus officials (e.g., Residential Life staff, Augustana Public Safety/Police) intervene beforehand, individuals, or those present, experiencing an alcohol, drug, or other substance-related medical emergency will not receive amnesty.
