These are the dates of the Hartford Fair 2021.
What are August 7th to August 14th?
Special insurance has to be taken out by the club if you are taking this project.
What is a horse project?
You use this booklet to help you select your 4H projects
What is the Family Guide?
This must be done yearly to be able to show an animal at the fair.
Quality Assurance (May 31 deadline)
What is the goat, chicken, and rabbit sale?
This must be done prior to the fair for the following animals: market lambs, dairy feeders, rabbits, chickens, turkeys.
What is tagging, banding, or tattooing?
Evaluation of livestock members knowledge through participating in this hands on stations that allow the member to apply knowledge to real world situations.
What is the Skill-a-thon?
This one day event is for those that are kindergarten through second grade?
Cloverbud Day Camp
Event when you get to go and select an specific animal by number draw.
What is the lamb pool selection?
Must be turned in by May 15th to identify a specific animal
What is Hog ID Forms? (To the Willeke's by5/13 if you want them to turn them in)
This is the amount due to Buckeye's Best 4H per member to help pay for entry fees, booklets, booth supplies, insurance, etc
What is $25?
This happens in July for those that are taking a non animal project.
Special Interest Judging (July 8th)
Events that are held in the Wright Arena on the last day of the fair.
What are the dairy feeder, market lamb, steer, market steer, gallon of milk sales?
This form indicates your project animal has met all drug withdrawal periods at the time of exhibition.
What is the D.U.N.F? Drug Use Notification Form
These are the 4 H's of 4H.
Something you can attend for several days where you play games, learn songs, fish, high ropes, cookouts, etc?
4-H Summer Camp
Issued by the Fair Officials for completion of a project based on participation and exhibition.
What is a Premium Voucher?
This show typically takes place most of the day on Tuesday of fair week
What is the hog show
If you are at least 15 years of age, you are able to test out of this for the remaining years you are in 4H.

Item you need when you do a non animal project and must have completed before judging.
