Name Dr. Graham's three rules.

1. Be KIND or be QUIET.

2. Keep your hands to yourselves.

3. Do what your teacher tells you to do with a respectful heart.

100

What side of the hall do we always walk on? *Unless Mrs. Shelton tells us differently

The right side, like we're driving on the road.
100

What do you need to do in the lunch room BEFORE we go back to class?

Use the restroom IF YOU NEED TO. Don't just go in there to go in there.

100

How many people can be in EACH bathroom at a time?

One! One boy and one girl. So if someone just asked me if they can go...DON'T ASK :)

100

If Mrs. Shelton assigns you a partner that you don't want to work with, what should you do?

Be kind to your partner. You will not always get to choose who you work with in life.

200

How should you ask a question during a lesson?

By raising your hand UNTIL Mrs. Shelton calls on you. (Without calling out)
200

What should our voices be like in the hall? Why?

On level ZERO (no talking). Because we are setting an example for the younger kids...and because your teacher told you so.

200

When it's time to clean up, what should you do?

Clean your area completely and walk to get in line.

200

Should I go to the bathroom when I'm bored?

No...why would you want to hang out in the bathroom when you could be in the classroom finishing your work early so you can have independent reading time?

200
During group work, what should our voices sound like?

Level 2 at the most. I should not be able to hear you from across the room.

300

If you have a question about the assignment, what should you do instead of lining up at Mrs. Shelton's desk?

Raise your hand if you need help, and wait to be called on.

300

How should our bodies look in the hallway?

Facing the front, walking, not acting like a crazy person.

300

Why are we not allowed to save seats?

It's not kind. You are not in charge of the lunch table. Someone can sit wherever they want to sit.

300

Why is it important to wash your hands in the bathroom?

So we don't get sick. It's gross..and you are not in Kindergarten.

300

If you are in a group, who should you be talking to?

The people in your group! Not another group.

400

When is the right time to ask to use the restroom, sharpen my pencil, etc.?

When Mrs. Shelton is NOT teaching. You can ask while you are working on an assignment.

400

If we see someone we know, what can we do?

Wave hi! Don't get out of line.

400

If you see Mrs. Shelton speaking to another teacher at the lunch table, but you need something, what should you do?

Wait until Mrs. Shelton is not speaking and ask your question.

400

If someone from another class is in the bathroom playing, what should I do?

Tell Mrs. Shelton so that she can let their teacher know, but don't join in and get in trouble too.

400

Why have we lost our privileges to work in groups in the past?

Being too loud, arguing, not getting work done, etc.
500
What should you do if you don't like an assignment?

Do it anyway. Don't complain about it. We are at school to LEARN and get our work done.

500
Why should you not cut in front of someone in the line?

We're all going to the same place. There is literally no reason to do it, and you will just get sent to the end of the line anyway.

500

On music days (Friday), why is it important to make sure you eat your food quickly and not waste your time talking?

We have a shorter lunch time on Fridays.

500

How should you treat the soap, paper towels, sinks, etc?

With respect like you are at home. Don't play with the soap or the sink.

500

Why should EVERY group member be working?

You are being graded. If someone tells me that you're not helping, you will get a ZERO. It's not fair to let everyone else do the work for you!
