How and when do you hand in homework?
First thing in the morning, before davening.
What do you do every morning when you come in?
Find your teacher with the clipboard and say good morning.
What are the first things you should do when you come into the classroom in the morning?
Check the whiteboard and get your things for the day. Come into class and write down your homework.
What should you do with an ipad or chromebook when you are finished using it?
Put it back and plug it in!
How do you know where to go to which station and when?
Find your name on the rotations board. Underneath your name is the order of your rotations and which stations to go to for each round.
What happens if you do not complete a homework assignment?
You have to make it up the next night.
What do you do if you are playing a game at recess and someone new wants to join?
You let them play without issues, because we let everyone play with us!
What should you come to morning meeting holding?
NOTHING!
When is it a good time to pick a book or on deck book?
When you come in the morning or if you finish rotations early.
What should you do if you need help during an independent station?
1. Try to figure it out myself.
2. Ask a friend (who is also working independently) quietly.
3. Ask a teacher who is not teaching or working with a student at the time
4. If both teachers are busy, write my question on a sticky note with my name on it and leave it by the teacher. Read independently while waiting.
What should you do if you left homework at school or lost it?
Check schoology or ask a friend. Can always email your teachers!
How do we make the circle for morning meeting?
Sit in a smart spot. Always make room for bracha!
What should you do during morning meeting when another classmate or teacher is speaking?
Be an active listener- stay quiet and look at whoever is speaking.
What should you do when its time to start packing up?
1. Clean up pencils and garbage under and near your table.
2. Take EVERYTHING out of your desk and put it in a pile in your desk.
3. When your table is called, push in your chair, get your homework from your mailbox empty handed. Bring it back to your desk. Put it in your green folder. Then take all of your things and bring it out to your locker. Put your green folder and independent reading book in your bag.

What are the bathroom rules?
You have to sign out to go to the bathroom. Only 1 person can go to the bathroom at a time. Try to go during an independent working time (not teacher led).

Recess or use a pass
What does independent reading look like in the classroom?
Quietly reading, independently, in a smart and comfortable spot.
What is an anytime activity? When can you work on it?
Something to be done independently and quietly. You can choose it from the folders and can work on it.
You can work on it any time you are done a rotations or have any free time in the classroom.
