When a teacher tells you recess is over, what should you do?
Clean up right away. If you are outside, begin to line up in your line order. If we are inside, sit back down and your seat and make sure you have everything ready to go for the next class.
Can you talk during a test or independent work? Why or why not?
No. The teacher may think you're cheating and you are disrupting other classmates from doing their best work.
TRUE or FALSE: Your hands should be touching the person next to in line. Why?
False. It's not respectful and it's not safe.
What do you need to do after using the bathroom to stay healthy?
Wash your hands with soap and water.
If you want to get out of your seat, what do you do?
Raise your hand and wait to ask a teacher.
Bill and Jimmy are arguing about Gaga and they start to fight. What do you do?
Go tell a teacher right away!
If there is a fire drill, lock down, or shelter in place, what should you do?
- Fire drill- line up quickly and quietly. Walk to the meeting spot outside.
- Lock down- move quickly and quietly to the closet doors. Sit quietly in front of the closet doors.
-Shelter in place- Stay where you are and stay quiet.
The teacher is not at the door or the door is closed. What should you do?
Stay in a quiet line and avoid blocking the door. Wait for your teacher to open the door. You should never be in a classroom without an adult.
Where should paper towels go, even if they are on the floor and not yours?
In the trash! We want to keep our school clean and safe.
Who are the people you should talk to during lunch?
The people at your table or else it can get too loud.
TRUE or FALSE: You came to school wearing your jacket. You should not wear it outside at recess.
False. If you came to school with a jacket on, you MUST wear it at recess.
What do you do if you want to talk during class?

-Play one game for a few minutes and then switch to the other.

You can ask the people around you. Ask 3 people before interrupting the teacher.

Look around your area and make sure the ALL trash is cleaned up (even if it's not yours). We want to keep our school clean.
