What should you bring into class?
1. Folder and Agenda in the basket
2. Waterbottle if needed
3. Light jacket if needed
DO NOT BRING toys, phones, pencils, hats/gloves/coats, loose money, or any distractions to class without permission.
What helps you calm down?
Say answer outloud.
What voice level is allowed in the hall when walking in line?
Voice level 0
How should you react if someone in your small group gets an answer wrong?
Say, "oops" and move by on. Don't forget to look at the correct answer. Remember that making mistakes is how we learn!
Two-part question: What do you do if you do not know an answer? What happens next?
Cup your hand around your ear. The class will whisper the answer.
What can you do if someone is upsetting you? (Rude comment, being bossy, leaving you out, etc.)
What do you do if someone says/does something inappropriate or harmful?
Rude comment: Communicate your feelings and ask them to stop. Give them a chance to make it better. If they don't, tell the adult that is IN THE ROOM when it happened and AVOID that person.
Inappropriate or harmful behavior: Tell the adult in charge IMMEDIATELY. Let them know if this has been happening often.
