Jane wrote a report about amphibians.  In her report she stated that "Amphibians and Reptiles may look alike, but they are quite different."

Is she correct?  Why?

Amphibians have soft smooth skin, why reptile skin is hard and scaly.

Amphibians lay their eggs in water, and reptiles lay their eggs on land.

Amphibians go through metamorphosis, and reptiles don't.

Amphibian eggs are small, clear, and have a black dot in them, where as reptile eggs are white and you cannot see into them.

Amphibians begin their life in the water breathing through gills, while reptiles breathe with their lungs their whole life.
