An American game played by two teams of 11 players, using an oval ball which players kick, throw or carry up and down the playing field. Teams try to put the ball over the other team’s line.
AMERICAN FOOTBALL
Physical exercises that develop and show the body’s strength and ability to move and bend easily, often done as a sport in competitions.
GYMNASTICS
A Japanese system of fighting in which you use your hands and feet as weapons.
KARATE
The sport or activity of moving and dancing on ice on skates. You cut patterns in the ice and do jumps and spins.
ICE SKATING
A game in which two or four players use rackets to hit a ball backwards and forwards across a net on a specially marked court.
TENNIS
The sport or activity of moving through water in a horizontal position using your arms and legs.
SWIMMING
The sport of riding on waves while standing on a narrow board.
SURFING
The sport or activity of moving over snow on skis, especially as a sport.
SKIING
A game played like tennis with bats and a small plastic ball on a table with a net across it.
