A common phrase started in our classroom in an effort to get me to let all students sit at the back table on Fridays, despite that having never been our rule.

This 5E student is often the first one in the room, likes cats, and can often be found drawing fun creatures and characters.
Who is Ada?
This student used to often be playing hide and seek Marco Polo, but now can often be found testing if you are ready to catch them with trust falls.

Sometimes during lunch, you could spot these three students at the board, working and reworking on a math challenge problem.

Careful- do you have your fingers crossed? This game, inspired by a popular series of graphic novels, made its way into our classroom, but was also around when I was in elementary school.

This 5E student likes rock climbing, the Beastars books, and is currently on a local baseball team.
Who is Oliver?
This student has been asking me on and off for three years if they have to go out to recess. (To be clear, the answer is still yes, you do have to go outside with all of us, I'm sorry.)
