Maturity requires you to be on your best behavior wherever you are. Behaviors will vary depending upon situations and surroundings. However, you should always strive to do the right thing without being told to do so.
If I complete my homework in class, do I still need to take it home?
Yes, you should always take your homework home. If you have questions, you can ask your parents, another adult, or your sibling for help. You can also always have them check your work.

What does participation mean in 5th grade?
Participation means you are involved with your schoolwork. You do your best to learn and to help your classmates learn. It is expected that you raise your hand to participate in whole-class discussions or to get the teacher's attention. You should listen to classmates, follow instructions, and do assignments. You should have all the needed school supplies including your charged computer, sharpened pencils, an AR book, your journal, and all curricular materials.
