No-Note passing can cause miscommunication and usually hurts other peoples feelings.
Is it okay to have boyfriends or girlfriends at school?
No, it is not appropriate for school or at this age. Relationships at this age will always end in hurt, one way or another. Relationships are not as easy as they seem.
Should you gossip about someone if they gossip about you?
No. If you think that someone is talking about you to others, address it with that person respectfully. You can always ask an adult for help to talk to the other party.
Does keeping your hands and feet to yourself help keep people safe at school?
Yes! Even if you are playfully tapping someone, it could be misinterpreted or even hurt them.
True or false? Crop tops are okay to wear at school?
False. Showing your midriff is not appropriate for school. Make sure that this area is covered. If you raise your hands and your shirt shows your midriff, it is probably too short of a shirt.
True or False, notes are a distraction during class time?
True. Note passing not only distracts you from your learning, but it distracts others as well. It is also disrespectful to the teacher.
True or false, at this age relationships are acceptable among all cultures?
False. Most if not all cultures would not be accepting of relationships at this age. It's important to respect the culture and backgrounds of others.
True or false? If a friend tells you about a rumor that they heard, then it must be true.
False. Most rumors are not true. Even if they are true, you would not like someone spreading rumors about you, therefore you should not spread rumors about others. Mind your business unless someone's emotional or physical safety is at risk. Then, ask for help from an adult.
Yes or no? Just because you don't mind people in your personal bubble, means it's okay to invade the space of others?
No. Everyone has a personal bubble and most people do not like when that space is invaded. Give others their space.

False. We need to make sure that all texts and graphics are school appropriate.
True or false? When talking with friends, we can use any kind of language, even mean or bad words.
False. It is important to be kind and respectful to everyone, especially our friends. Even "joking" words can hurt someone's feelings.
Is it okay to talk about someone liking another person?
No, this opens the door for problems to arise. Things can be misunderstood and we want to make sure our conversations are age and school appropriate.
If you hear someone gossiping, you should agree with them and tell others what you heard.
False. If you hear someone gossiping, you should tell them to stop. You wouldn't like someone gossiping about you, treat others how you would like to be treated.
Is it okay to be directly behind someone in line?
No, give people their space; one arm length is best.
Yes or no, it's okay to wear any length of shorts?
No. If you put your arms against your body and the shorts are shorter that your fingers, they are too short.
Yes or no? I can say what I want, even it's a bad or mean word?
No! If you would not feel comfortable saying that word or statement in front of us (Adults), then you should keep those words to yourself.

False. Not only are they a distraction, they can also cause greater issues to arise.
Should you think before speaking?
Yes. We can't take our words back, so it's important to choose them wisely. Think to yourself "Is what I'm about to say helpful or hurtful?" If it is hurtful, keep those words to yourself.

False. Tag is not safe, it is important to keep your hands and feet to yourself.
Is tight and short clothing is acceptable?
No. This kind of clothing can be a distraction to others and can draw unwanted attention. Make sure that your clothing is comfortable and appropriate for school.

True. However, you should keep what you wrote to yourself. Showing someone, or giving someone the note can cause unwanted problems.
Is it best to wait until you are much older and have parent permission to date someone?
Yes! Parents know what is best for us and have experienced things we have yet to experience. It's important to listen to them and the adults at school on this topic. Enjoy being kids!!!
Yes or no? If someone is saying mean things about your friend, you should go tell your friend what was said about them?
No. Think to yourself "Why am I telling them what was said?" You are not doing anyone a favor when you let them know, you are only hurting their feelings. Tell the person saying hurtful things to stop, keep what you heard to yourself, and if needed ask an adult for help.
True or false? Throwing an object at someone is okay, especially if it's a piece of paper.
False. The other person could get hurt or upset. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
