What do you do when you want to talk in class?
By raising you hand quietly until you are picked.
What do you do when you get in class?
You hang up backpack on your chair, get out your homework and write in your agenda.
What do you when you walk to lunch or the playground?
You walk in a quietly and straight line.
What does P stand for?
Positive Attitude.
How do you get your group to work together?
By taking turns talking and sharing. Active listening. Respectful!
What do you do to help other be a better student?
You encourage others by saying positive things. No put downs!
How do you ask for help in class?
You ask you partner and group. If you still can't get the answer raise your hand quietly and wait.
When the whistle blows and/or you see a teacher put up their hand during recess what do you do?
You should line up quickly and quietly.
What does R stand for?
Respect and Responsibility
What is active listening?
Eye contact, respectful, responding based on what other person has said. Body language shows attentiveness.
How do students respect other students properties?
By not touching them or destroying them. Ask to use first before taking anything.
When can I use the bathroom?
Before school, lunch, before recess, in between period 1 and 2
Level 1, stay seated, respectful and kind!
What does I stand for?
If someone is not following directions, how can you help them?
Kind reminder or worry about you :)
What kind of food can students have in class?
Water.
When can I sharpen my pencil?
Before school, during recess time or at the beginning of class. You can also trade your pencil for another by using a hand signal.
What do you do if you notice someone is being left out at recess?
Include them!
What does D stand for?
Determination
What does a good working group look like?
They are sharing, helping, and encouraging others and getting your work or project done.
How can you respect others?
By listening to them, taking turns sharing, and using appropriate language and gestures.
How do students line up?
In ABC order or in number order. Level 0.
How should you behave in the hallway after coming in from recess?
You should be at a level 0.
When does E stand for?
Excellence
What kind of noise will working in group sound like?
Students talking quietly but not disrupting others.
