What is the difference in the states of matter?

the energy that the particles move

The earth rotates, meaning it spins on it's access. This gives us day and night. It also revolves or orbits around the sun, which gives us seasons and marks our calendar year.

300

Particles that move in a chaotic way are from which state of matter?

gas

Solid particles have little energy and stay in one place.

Liquid's particles slide around and change shape.

300

How do producers create their own food?

Photosynthesis

300

What is a decomposer and why do they matter?

400

What two elements do producers USE to create their own food?

water and oxygen

400

If lions were extinct, how would this effect the grass population in an environment?

Name a property of an apple.

Slightly hard, not magnetic, not soluble, red, round, shiny, does not electrical or thermally conducive.

500

Explain the process of photosynthesis.

Energy from the sun, oxygen from the air and water from the ground are soaked up by the plant. The plant then uses these elements to create sugar and carbon dioxide. The plant eats the sugar (sucrose) and gets rid of the carbon dioxide waste, which all other living things use to breathe.
