Ask Mrs. Iverson for permission and sign out in the book at the back of the room. Then, grab the hall pass and sign back in when you return to class.
The first thing you do when there is a fire drill
Stay Calm - Don't Panic! Then line up quietly.
The best time to go to the bathroom
During recess or lunch break/when Mrs. Iverson is not teaching.
How students should behave in the hallway
Lined up in order, in a straight line (one behind the other) and QUIETLY walking to the classroom or gym, etc...
What you should do if you are absent?
Check the Google Classroom page and/or ask Mrs. Iverson.
When you should be on your Chromebook
Only when instructed. You should not be on it when you enter class unless the directions on the board say that.

Listen and look at Mrs. Iverson (don't talk)
Is it okay to push, run, talk or yell during a fire drill?
Absolutely NOT!!!
The only homework you will have
Work you did not previously finish during class or work you are doing on a project.
You are not allowed to wear these in the classroom
A hat or hood.
When you should go behind or grab things off of Mrs. Iverson's desk
NEVER! (unless you are told to or you ask first)
What you should bring with you to class
Your binder, paper, and writing utensils.
Any other supplies you need.
What will happen if Mrs. Iverson has to speak to you more than once about behavior (e.g. talking when you shouldn't be, touching other people, taking things, etc ...)
Your name goes on the board - if it is already there, then you get a check and a chat over recess.
Where we go if there is a lock down
Against the wall by the coat hooks.
What do you do when you enter the room
Sit down at your desk and look at the board/t.v. for the bellringer assignment, then begin the bellringer
Is there running allowed in the hallway at any time?
No!
What you do if you need a pen or pencil
Ask Mrs. Iverson if you can borrow one from the pencil box at the back of the room.
If I can not handle my assigned seat
Mrs. Iverson will help you figure it out.
The expectation for effort?
Do the best you can.
Hand in ALL assignments.
Is it okay to use your phone to call or text your parents during a lockdown?
Nope! The school will contact your parents if they need to.
What happens if you cheat/copy from the internet?
You will have a conversation with Mrs. Iverson and you will redo the assignment - your parents will be contacted!
How loud students should be talking in the hallway
There is no talking when we walk in the hallway UNLESS you are coming in from outside or leaving the classroom for recess or home - then you will keep the volume to a reasonable level (like a 2).
Can you eat in the classroom?
No! Not unless you have permission from Mrs. Iverson.
When you should be talking in class
1. During class discussions, on topic
2. With a partner during think-pair-share
3. If the teacher asks you a question
4. Or if you have permission
