Positive psychology. Believes that people are good and have free will. With enough support and nourishment, people can thrive. People seek to grow psychologically and better themselves.

The group that does not participate in the critical part of the experiment (does not change)

Looks at different age groups at the same time in order to understand changes that occur during the life span.

How behavior and mental abilities help people adapt to their environments.

Type of psychologist that uses the research to deal with people and solve problems directly.
