Depending on how the client locked themselves in, find a key and try to unlock (if the client did not make a blockade)

Call security and mental health professionals discretely, and try to de-escalate in the mean-time if the client is in distress

Clear out traffic, and assess hazards & clients' situations

Proactive: Consider ways to encrypt sensitive information so tat others cannot see it/lock up documents (if relevant), sign off from your computer when leaving it unattended, or back-up sensitive information
