What you say (and do) right before you drink

いただきます, while lifting the bowl with right hand on side and left hand below bowl (and doing a bow with head)

100
The number of steps you take for each half-tatami (double the amount for long tatami)

3, 6 for long tatami

100

When can you begin eating the okashi?

Right after the host "purifies" (after we pour the warm water in at first and clean the chasen/whisk)

100

When the host bows, what do you do (freest question on this entire thing tbh)

Bow back

200

What you say (and do) to the person who is after you (and what they reply with)

おさきに, put the bowl in between you and them and do a slight bow (they bow back and say どうぞ)

200

What you do in front of the kama (the pot)

Look at it

200

What do you do right after you finish drinking?

Before you put it down, wipe where your mouth touched with your fingers (index and thumb), and then rub those fingers on your white tissue looking thing

200
What should you do when turning around (and why?)

You turn by stepping back with left, then right, then turning with left (or start turning around with the 2nd step ish but you get the idea prob), this is so you don't show the main guest your well.. behind

300

What you say while asking the host to clean up (and when you say it)

どうぞおしまいください while the host is pouring out the water after warming the bowl up again

300

How you turn around

use left foot, right foot, left foot, stepping back with the first two steps while turning with 2nd and 3rd (mostly 3rd) steps

300

What should you do right before drinking and why?

Turn the bowl clockwise twice, this is so that you don't drink with the side that has the design (the main side)

300

What should you be doing with your hands every time you move the bowl (for the most part)?

Hold it with right hand, hold with left hand, then hold again with right hand

400

What you say and do to the person sitting before you to ask them if they want another bowl (and what they reply)

もういっぽくいかがですか, with the bowl in between you and them and with a slight head bow (they bow back while saying だいじょうぶです)

400

What you do in front of the calligraphy and the flower

Place sensu in front of you, look at both, bow, look at them again

400

What should you do right after you place it back down for the host (or the helper) to take after finishing the tea? (idt we did this today but its on the doc)

Turn the bowl counterclockwise twice

400

When can you relax your legs (tho don't do this tomorrow)

Right after the host bows a second time after placing the hishaku on the futaoki

500

What you say after telling the next person that you will be drinking before them (and what you do)

おてまいちょうだいいたします, while bowing

500

What you do with your sensu while you are walking

Hold on right hand, with it right on your leg

500

What should you do with the trash left over from the okashi?

Put it on the white tissue-like thing, twist it "like a candy", and if you can, put in sleeves of kimono/yukata

500

What should your posture look like and where should your hands be while sitting down? Also, where should your sensu be?

Back straight, keep hands in front of you (you can put them together, i think left over right but doesn't really matter), keep them straight and nice and not like.. all spread apart

sensu should be behind you, with the wide side facing the main guest with the main guest having it the other way (i think, will confirm with saya sensei tomorrow for exact direction)
