A. To start, in "Shipwrecked!", the author describes Shackleton's voyage as dangerous and tasking, but ultimately being brave to carry his crew to victory. This is conveyed by the details from the the voyage implemented into the story. Even after the original ship was trapped in mass ice, Shackleton persevered and "Bravely set out again with five of his strongest men battling high waves, winds, and severe thirst"( 11). 

B. In " Shipwreck" this supports that the text only gives us details and information on what was happening with the sailors. When they tell us more information about his crew it states, "But nothing could have prepared Shackleton or crew for what did happen". The text is giving information on him and his crew.
