What are the steps of transcription up until we start translation. Include the cell location that the steps occur.

In the nucleus the DNA molecule is opened. The bottom strand is used to make the mRNA. The mRNA::DNA molecule breaks apart. The mRNA leaves the nucleus and enters the cytoplasm. In the cytoplasm the mRNA gets to the ribosomes.

If the lysosomes do not function, there will be a build up of old, damaged or unwanted proteins. This will cause the cell not to function properly.
