I raise my hand and patiently wait for help.

Whatever the teacher has on the daily assignment board.
When are assignments due?
On their due date!!!! The teacher will always tell you.
Where do I go once I enter the classroom?
To my seat!
When is it okay to talk in class?
When the teacher calls on you or you are working with a partner or group.
What if I need to see a counselor?
Ask the teacher and she will call to see if one is available.
What if I forget my homework at home?
You have three days to turn it in.
Do I lose points for turning in work up to three days late?
NO
What is the first thing I do once I am in my seat?
Fill in my planner and sit quietly!
Can I get up to get a Kleenex without asking?
Yes, but return to seat promptly!
When can I go to the nurse?
If you are feeling ill, ask the teacher for a pass by raising your hand. If not an emergency, the teacher may ask you to wait a minute or two.
Where do I turn in my assignments?
In the wire baskets in the back of the room for your class period.
If I am sick, how do I find out my missing work?
Ask the teacher, ask a friend, check the homework website and Skyward.
What materials should I bring to class daily?
Planner, binder, pencil, homework
Can I stand up and walk around the room whenever I want?
No, the teacher must give me permission.
What if I left something in another room or in my locker that I need?
Ask and the teacher may say no if not important to get at that time.
When I can I use my phone or tablet?
Only with teacher permission. You cannot have your phone out at all unless you ask.
Are all assignments important?
Yes, if you want a passing grade and want to retake tests.
What do I do when the bell rings?
Stop talking and look at the teacher.
Can I sharpen my pencil in class?
Yes, before class and with teacher permission. NOT while the teacher is talking!
What do I do when the bell rings at the end of class?
Wait for the teacher to dismiss you!
What if my neighbor wants to talk to me while the teacher is giving important directions?
Tell them to listen to the teacher or wait just a minute.
When can I retake tests?
Up to a week after the test! Or if you have been, absent, when you return.
