What's the difference between astonishing vs exotic?

Explain it with examples.

Astonishing: very surprising

Her first novel enjoyed an astonishing success.

Exotic: unusual and exciting because of coming (or seeming to come) from far away.

She has rather a penchant for exotic clothes.

BUYING: It means you are recalling a memory of an action that you already completed in the past.

  • Example: "I remember buying this jacket in Paris." (The buying happened in the past; you now have the memory of doing it.)
