You can have your phone during the day as long as it is put away during classes.

Cheating, violating testing procedures, plagiarism, copying homework
What is the policy on shoes?
No crocs, no slippers without a back, and girls sandals do not have to a back but look formal.
When do most practices start?
4:00 or 4:30
What is the schedule?
4 block schedule everyday including Monday.
How many tardies is it before a detention?
5 unexcused tardies to a class in a semester.
What is the boys dress code?
Shorts with beltloops and pockets with a collard shirt or a Newman shirt.
What is the club requirement?
None, you don't have to if you don't want to
When are assemblies?
Mondays and Wednesdays
What do you do if you are planning an absence?
Go get a sheet from the upper school office and get signatures from all of your teachers excusing your absence.
What is the denim policy and jean shorts?
Real blue denim is allowed along with other colors. Jean shorts are allowed but as long as everything is covered a good amount.

No athletic wear. T-shirts have to say Newman. No leggings. No Sweatpants.
How do you charter a club?
There is a Google Form that is sent out during the club chartering season. From there, you will have to present your club and your ideas in front of ExComm and Mrs. McCormick and they will decide whether or not to approve or deny your club
Put it in the locker room out of the walkway or on the racks in the commons.
